Sollant diaphragm compressors provide lubricants and technically wear-free compression for gases and gas mixtures. Since they operate without leakage, they are especially suitable for the highest purity gases as well as for explosive, toxic and expensive gases. Diaphragm compressors ensure reliable compression of various gases such as hydrogen, helium, argon, fluorine, chlorine or nitrogen trifluoride.

Description
  1. Our diaphragm compressors use static seals instead of dynamic seals commonly used in other reciprocating compressors. Therefore, by choosing a "static" seal, the leakage of the compressor can be controlled to a very low level.
  2. For the vast majority of applications, elastomeric "O" rings are acceptable and will provide very high tightness depending on process gas, unit size and pressure, and can achieve "bubble-tight" levels of leakage.
  3. There is no lubricant or coolant in the process gas stream, so the process gas will not be contaminated with any liquid. For practical purposes, the gas leaving the compressor is as pure as the gas entering the compressor. Diaphragm compressors are used to handle the purest bottled gases, breathing gases and other critical industrial applications.
